Question: Who should purchase a brick and why?

Answer: EVERYONE! We encourage everyone associated with the “pickin from kin to kain’t” experience to have a brick in the plaza–Corporations, businesses, community leaders, natives of the Delta, and friends.

Questions: How much will the bricks cost?

Answer: A brick can be purchased for $100.

The bricks will be placed in accordance to the following zones:

  1. Central Plaza
  2. Tribute to Slave Labor
  3. Tribute to Cotton Picking
  4. Tribute to Sharecropper
  5. Tribute to Black Farmers

Question: Do I have to pay for my brick in one installment?

Answer: YES!

In order to keep our administrative costs at a minimum, we request one easy, simple payment in the amount of $100.

Corporations (or individuals) may choose to contribute towards the cost of bricks for underprivileged families or in the name of known and unknown ancestors.
